text-align: start;\"\u003eمعروف شاعرہ اور ماہر تعلیم یاسمین حمید 18مارچ 1951ء کو لاہور میں پیدا ہوئیں۔ ان کے والدین پاکستان آرمی میں تھے۔ مختلف شہروں میں تبدیلی ہوتی رہتی تھی اس لیے میٹرک تک سات سکول تبدیل کیے۔ میٹرک ملتان سے کیا۔ ہوم اکنامکس لاہور کالج سے 1972ء میں نیوٹریشن (Nutrition) میں ایم ایس سی کی ڈگری حاصل کی اور تدریس کے شعبے سے وابستہ ہو گئیں۔ ان کی شادی تعلیم کے دوران ہی ہوگئی تھی۔ 1979ء سے 1982ء تک کویت میں انٹرنیشنل سکول آف پاکستان سے وابستہ رہیں۔ \u003cspan class=\"html-span xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x1hl2dhg x16tdsg8 x1vvkbs\" style=\"text-decoration: none; margin: 0px; text-align: inherit; overflow-wrap: break-word; padding: 0px; font-family: inherit;\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eپھر پاکستان واپس آ گئیں۔ 1986ء میں The Lahore Alma کے نام سے سکول قائم کیا جہاں تین برس کی عمر سے لے کر O Level تک کے بچے تعلیم حاصل کر رہے ہیں۔ یاسمین حمید کی اعلیٰ صلاحیتوں اور تدریسی تجربہ کی بنا پر ان کا ادارہ نہایت کامیابی سے رواں دواں ہے۔\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: inherit; text-align: start;\"\u003eیاسمین حمید کو بچپن ہی سے گیت گانے اور شعر پڑھنے کا شوق تھا۔ اردو ادب کے ساتھ ساتھ انگریزی فکشن بھی بہت پڑھا لیکن شاعری اپنیFormal تعلیم مکمل کرنے کے بعد شروع کی۔\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: inherit; text-align: start;\"\u003eاعلیٰ تعلیم یافتہ اور فنون لطیفہ کی شائق یاسمین حمید اگرچہ ایسی آسودہ اور مطمئن خاتون خانہ ہے جس کا محور زیست خوش ذوقی سے آراستہ گھر‘ شوہر اور بچے ہیں۔ تاہم شاعرہ یاسمین نے اپنے لیے الگ جہان تخلیق بھی آباد کر رکھا ہے۔ شائستہ لہجے میں ہم کلام ہونے والی یاسمین حمید نے شخصیت کے نہاں خانے میں تخلیقی سفر کی منزلیں سر کیں تو سائیکی کے لینڈ اسکیپ سے تخلیق کے پھول حاصل کئے۔ ایسے پھول جن کی مہک میں نئے پن کی دلنوازی ہے۔ وہ تخلص کے ذریعہ سے مقطع میں تعلی یا خود نمائی نہ کرنے کے باوجود بھی شعر کو ذات کا استعارہ بنا دیتی ہے۔\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: inherit; text-align: start;\"\u003eیاسمین حمید کی پہلی کتاب ’’پس آئینہ‘‘ 1988ء میں شائع ہوئی۔اس سے پہلے ’’ سیپ‘‘ اور چند دیگر رسائل میں غزلیں چھپ چکی تھیں۔ شاعری کے ساتھ ساتھ ادارت بھی کی۔ اردو سے انگریزی میں تراجم کا سلسلہ بھی باقاعدگی سے جاری ہے۔\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: inherit; text-align: start;\"\u003eان کی دیگر کتابوں میں ’’ حصار بے در دیوار‘‘ (1991ء)، ’’ آدھا دن آدھی رات‘‘ (1996ء)، ’’فنا بھی ایک سراب ہے‘‘ (2001ء) شامل ہیں۔ انہیں 1996ء میں علامہ اقبال ایوارڈ اور نیشنل ہجری1417 ایوارڈ، 2001ء میں احمد ندیم قاسمی ایوارڈ سے نوازا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ حکومت پنجاب کی طرف سے فاطمہ جناح ایوارڈ برائے 2006ء بھی مل چکا ہے۔ حکومت پاکستان کی طرف سے 2008ء میں ستارئہ امتیاز سے نوازا گیا۔ ان کی منتخب شاعری پر مشتمل مجموعہ ’’دوسری زندگی‘‘ کے نام سے 2007ء میں شائع ہوا۔\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: inherit;
